The UK Pavilion at BioVision 2003 presented ETC with quite a challenge.
Following site visits to the venue in Lyon and teleconferencing with Paris and Lyon Embassies this particular install was a welcome challenge for ETC.
The show started at the Palais des Congres in Lyon, France on the 8th April, one day after the start of the Hannover Fair in Germany which we were also installing.
A second team was assembled to install the T3 System framework and graphics along with the reception desk, 3.5 metre high tower unit and EyeTower lightboxes. Above the 3.5 metre Tower unit we installed 2 x 5ft square sign with spotlighting.
A larger team of 7 x technicians was required for this install in view of the tight security at the Palais. The whole UK Pavilion had to be built within 14hrs on Monday the 7th April.
In spite of power cuts in the evening ETC completed the build of the UK pavilion, including installation and set-up of two plasma screens and audio equipment within the allotted time by 23:00hrs in the evening.
Our technicians stayed for the duration of the show to assist in moving various items of display as required.
The stand was dismantled on the 11th/12th April and returned safely to ETC storage in the UK. |
